A little privacy.

POV Pet is a free single-player story game. Your current pet’s name, choices, and memories are stored locally in your browser’s IndexedDB and local storage. We do not ask for an account, collect payment, or upload your story to a database.

Starting another life replaces the active save. Completed lives are retained in a private collection of up to 100 stories on this device. Your album notes and favorite moments also stay locally. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes these saves. Downloaded cards and albums stay wherever you save them. Sharing only happens when you choose to share. Personal memory links include an encoded copy of your fictional pet’s name and story choices, so anyone with the link can view that story. Private album notes are excluded from links, but appear in cards and books you choose to export. Your selected sharing service handles what you send.

Cloudflare serves the website and may process technical request information to deliver and secure it. This release has no advertising or third-party analytics trackers.

Updated October 28, 2026. Keep your downloaded albums private if they contain personal notes.
